AZERBAIJAN, EGYPT SIGN THREE AGREEMENTS ON COOPERATION
Baku, May 24 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Egypt have today signed agreements on cooperation in the fields of diplomacy, youth affairs and education.
The agreement on abolishment of visa requirements for persons who hold diplomatic, service and official passports was signed by Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov and his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
The MOU on cooperation in the field of youth affairs was inked by the Azerbaijan Youth and Sport Ministry and Egypt`s National Council for Youth.
Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister Hafiz Pashayev and Egyptian ambassador Sabir Abdulgadir Mansur signed an agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry`s Diplomatic Academy and Institute for Diplomatic Studies of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking to the signing ceremony, Mammadyarov said he discussed with his Egyptian counterpart the bilateral relations, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and regional situation.
The Egyptian FM expressed hope his visit would contribute to expanding cooperation between the two countries.
