DAGESTANI PRESIDENT VISITS AZERBAIJAN`s PARLIAMENT

Baku, May 24 (AzerTAc). President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov has today visited Azerbaijan`s Parliament, the Milli Majlis, where was welcomed by Speaker Ogtay Asadov.
The two met in private before being joined by their delegations for an expanded meeting.
Asadov congratulated Magomedov on his election as Dagestan`s President.
The Speaker praised the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan, saying it was developing in all fields.
“We enjoy historical friendly and neighborhood relations”.
Asadov hailed the interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries, noting “high-level reciprocal visits open new opportunities for developing our bilateral relations”.
The Dagestani President praised the interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
“Friendly relations between our MPs play an important role from both political and social points of view”.
Magomedov said “Dagestan is interested in developing overall cooperation with Azerbaijan.”
