Iran's President: Independent states should help promote justice, peace

Tehran, May 24, IRNA -- Iran's President said on Sunday that all independent states and advocates of freedom, peace and justice should contribute to promote such ideals round the globe.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Guinea-Bissau president's special envoy, Aboubakr Dambadaha.

Dambadaha highlighted capabilities of the two countries to cooperate on economic, social, industrial and cultural fields.

President Ahmadinejad said that Iran is ready to upgrade current level of relations and that Tehran spares no efforts to transfer experience in science and technology to people in Guinea-Bissau.

Dambadaha submitted a written message from his country’s president, saying that suitable grounds exist for expansion of all-out cooperation between both countries.

Guinea-Bissau calls for consolidation and deepening of mutual cooperation in various economic, social, scientific and cultural fields between the two countries, the envoy said./end
