AZERBAIJANI LEADER OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO INDIAN PRESIDENT
Baku, May 22 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to President of India Pratibha Devisingh Patil over a heavy human loss as a result of a plane crash.
The letter reads: “The news of grave human loss as a result after a passenger jet crashed on landing in the southern city of Mangalore was a source of great sorrow to me.”
“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families of the dead and all the people of India,” the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.
