Iran ranks 3rd in Uzbek boxing tournament
Tashkent, May 22, IRNA – The National Boxing Team of Iran ranked third in the international boxing tournament in Uzbekistan, it was reported on Saturday.
The national boxing teams of the host country and Kazakhstan stood on first and second stages respectively.
The international boxing tournament was held in Uzbekistan in the memory of Sidney Jackson, the renowned Uzbek trainer.
Some 111 boxers from Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Chinese Taipei, Germany and Uzbekistan participated in the event./end
