INTERNATIONAL FORUM AND CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO NATIONAL LEADER HEYDAR ALIYEV HELD IN ROSTOV

Baku, May 22 (AzerTAc). An international forum and scientific conference dedicated to the 87th birthday of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was held Friday in Rostov, Russia.
Prior to the event, the participants saw photographs and videos featuring different periods of life and career of Heydar Aliyev in Russia and social-economic development of Azerbaijan.
The conference was followed by breakout sessions. Speakers delivered presentations on Heydar Aliyev’s activities in Azerbaijan and former USSR.
The delegation of Azerbaijan led by Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov participated in the enlarged session.
Ali Hasanov, Head of Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, also spoke at the conference about life and activity of Heydar Aliyev.
Azeri Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov expressed gratitude for excellent organization of the event dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Other speakers included pro-rector of the National Aviation Academy Adalat Samadov, rector of Rostov State Railways University academician Vladimir Kolesnikov.
The conference participants adopted a resolution and message to Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia.
They will today travel to the places visited by outstanding statesman Heydar Aliyev during his trips to Rostov as well as monument to soldiers of the 416th Taganrog Azerbaijani rifle division.
