COMMODITY TURNOVER BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND RUSSIA TO REACH $ 3 BILLION IN 2010
Baku, May 22 (AzerTAc). A commodity turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia is expected to reach 3 billion dollars by the end of 2010, chief of the trade delegates of Russia to Azerbaijan Yury Shedrin said at the meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia Chamber of Commerce in Baku.
A commodity turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia made up about 227,330,000 dollars up by 6.3% compared with two months of 2009, he said.
Shedrin said in January-February, Russia exported goods in 138,823,000 dollars to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan`s export to Russia stood at 96,504,000 dollars.
Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said export from Azerbaijan to Russia increased by 75% for four months compared with same period of the last year.
