COCA, USAID organize workshop on COCA's role in fighting corruption
SANA'A, July 13 (Saba) - The Central Organization for Control and Auditing COCA in collaboration with the US Agency for International Development USAID organized on Saturday a workshop on strengthening the role of the organization in combating corruption.
The GPC-run almotamar.net quoted director of the technical cooperation department at the organization Ahmed al-Shaibani as saying the three-day workshop is considered the first fruits of cooperation between the COCA and USAID.
Participants to take part in the seminar would be from the COCA, the units recently established by presidential decrees to strengthen the coordination between the COCA and the parliament and shoura councils, the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission SNACC and the special unit for reviewing corruption cases.
