OIC MEMBER STATES CONDEMN ARMENIA`s AGRESSION AGAINST AZERBAIJAN
Baku, May 21 (AzerTAc). Chief diplomats of member states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference have condemned Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan, in a declaration they adopted in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, on results of the 37th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers.
In the document, called the Dushanbe Declaration, the OIC FMs said:
“We condemn the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and call for the resolution of the conflict on the basis of respect for the territorial integrity and inviolability of internationally recognized borders of the Republic Azerbaijan.”
The Council of Foreign Ministers also adopted several resolutions supporting Azerbaijan, including on “The Aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “The Destruction and Desecration of Islamic Historical and Cultural Relics and Shrines in the Occupied Azerbaijan Territories Resulting from the Aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan”, and “Economic Assistance to the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
