US ARCHAEOLOGISTS TO CONDUCT RESEARCHES IN NAKHCHIVAN

Baku, May 20 (AzerTAc). Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania will join their Azeri counterparts from the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography in conducting a series of archaeological researches in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan.
Safar Ashurov, a coordinator of the expedition, said they would analyze archaeological findings belonging to the 1st millennium BC, which were discovered in Oghlangala, an ancient settlement in Nakhchivan`s Sharur region.
The researches will take place in June-August.
