AZERBAIJAN, BAHAMAS DISCUSS COOPERATION
Washington, May 19 (AzerTAc). Visiting Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, Ambassador Agshin Mehdiyev has met Director General of the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs Joshua Sears.
During the meeting, the Ambassador handed over a letter of Azerbaijan`s FM Elmar Mammadyarov to Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of the Bahamas Theodore Brent Symonette.
Mehdiyev informed the Bahamian Director General about the current state of the settlement process for the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and the results of Armenian aggression against the country.
They also discussed the ways of expanding bilateral relations, prospects for cooperation and improvement of the regulatory framework between the two countries.
They also discussed opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation within international organizations.
