Lebanon president welcomes Tehran declaration

Beirut, May 19, IRNA – Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said on Tuesday that the landmark agreement made by Iran, Turkey and Brazil on fuel swap is the beginning of the diplomatic drive to resolve Iran’s nuclear dispute.
President Suleiman said in a statement that he was hopeful that the declaration would ease tension both in the region and the entire world.
Lebanon has been among countries which suggested diplomatic solution to replace the logic of force, President Suleiman said, adding that soft and logical dialogue is the best solution to any problem or crisis./end
