OIC BACKS AZERBAIJAN`s TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY
Baku, May 18 (AzerTAc). “The Organization of Islamic Conference supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and calls for soonest implementation of relevant UN Security Council`s resolutions on this issue,” said OIC Secretary General at the 37th session of the council of foreign ministers held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
He also touched upon challenges facing Islam and Muslims around the world, saying: “We are facing daunting challenges which target our identity, our faith, our culture, our interests, and more importantly, our destiny. In the face of this mounting menace, I have committed myself to summon all my energy and resources, and those of my colleagues in the General Secretariat, to do our utmost - at our level - to stand up to these challenges.”
