PERTAMINA'S OIL OUTPUT UP
Jakarta, July 11 (ANTARA) - State oil and gas company Pertamina said its oil production in the past week rose to 120,000 barrels per day from 117,000 bpd previously.
"We will try to maintain the upward trend in oil output," Pertamina President Director Ari Soemarno said on Friday.
But he stopped short of revealing the oil fields which contributed to the increase in oil production.
The rise in oil production coupled with the soaring global crude prices would no doubt raise the company's revenues, he said.
Pertamina has set itself a target of posting a net profit of Rp34 trillion for 2008, up by Rp10 trillion from a year earlier.
