AZERI PAINTER TO TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION
Baku, May 18 (AzerTAc). The Bissaya Barreto Foundation on 20th May will open to the public an International `Surrealism Now` exhibition. The exhibition will take place in Bissaya Barreto Museum House and Sant Anna Convent in Coimbra, Portugal, European Union, bringing together 56 artists from 31 countries, including Azerbaijan. The Azeri painter Mehriban Efendi will join the exhibition with her “Mugham” piece.
This year Bissaya Barreto Foundation presents the exhibition under the motto `56 artists, 56 works, and 31 countries`. During the exhibition, slides of paintings will be viewed on LCD screens from artists taking part in an online exhibition.
This year, the exhibition will be conducted under the motto “56 artists, 56 paintings, 31 countries” and wrap up on June 30.
Famous Azeri surrealist painter Efendi is known not only in Azerbaijan. Her solo exhibitions were organized in Australia and United States. She also participated in international exhibition in the Netherlands.
