Oil Minister meets WB official

SANA'A, May 18 (Saba) - Minister of Oil and Minerals
Amir al-Aydarus met here on Monday with World Bank (WB) Regional Director of Middle
East
and North Africa David Craig.
The minister and the WB official discussed the ministry's plans and the technical
works in areas of oil, gas and minerals, as well as the investment opportunities in
this
regard in the country.
Al-Aydarus and Craig also reviewed means to enhance the partnership between the
Ministry and WB in financial and administrative work systems and the technical and
information
aspects.
Craig asserted the WB's keenness on strengthening cooperation with the ministry,
hailing the achievements made in this sector.
