PM opens, lays foundation stones for YR 25 bln projects in Hajjah
HAJJAH, May 17 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar opened and put foundation stones here on Monday for 637 service and developmental projects at a total cost of YR 25 billion on occasion of our country celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the Reunification Day.
Accompanied by Governor of Hajjah Farid Mujawar, the premier unveiled the curtain
on a plaque for 367 projects to be opened ,which are distributed as follows, 200
projects
in field of education, 55 projects in field of public health and population ,and 29
projects in the field of public works and cities improvement.
These projects include 50 projects in field of water and sanitation, 11 projects in
field of agriculture and irrigation, 18 projects in field of local administration,
three
projects in field of youth and sports, one project in field of technical education
and vocational training and one project in field of social affairs.
With regard to the projects that the cornerstones have been put for them, they
amounted to 270 developmental and service projects, including 28 projects in the
sector of
public works and roads, 71 projects in water and sanitation sector, 111 projects in
education sector, 50 projects in public health and population sector, and 27 in
agriculture
and irrigation sector, as well as 19 projects in the field of electricity.
