YOUNG AZERI PIANIST WINS GRAND PRIX
Baku, May 18 (AzerTAc). Azeri pianist Minira Najfzade, student of Azerbaijan Gymnasium of Art, representing the republic at the 17th international music contests in Palma De Mallorca, Spain, won the highest award, the Grand Prix.
Skillful performance of the 12-year old Azeri girl astonished the Spanish audience and the jury. This is not Minira`s first award, she has many awards from numerous music contests in foreign countries.
The Contests are said to end on May 18.
