PRESIDENT TO RECEIVE BRAZILIAN COUNTERPART ON SATURDAY

Jakarta, July 11 (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to receive his Brazilian counterpart, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, at the Merdeka Palace here on Saturday.

The meeting between the two leaders will start at 10.00 a.m. on Saturday, the Press and Media Bureau at the Presidential Palace said on Friday.

Earlier, presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal said da Silva would come at the head of a 150-strong delegation and sign a number of cooperation agreements with Yudhoyono.

The cooperation agreements would deal with production and use of ethanol fuel, education and visa-free facilities.

During his stay, the Brazilian leader would also lay a wreath of flowers at the Kalibata Heroes' Cemetery in South Jakarta and pay courtesy calls on People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Chairman Hidayat Nur Wahid, House of Representatives (DPR) Chairman Agung Laksono and Chief of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) MS. Hidayat.
