AZERTAC CORRESPONDENT PRESENTED WITH UZBEKISTAN`S “ALTIN KELAM” NATIONAL AWARD
Tashkent, May 16 (AzerTAc). AzerTAc reporter Gulu Kazimov (Kangarli) has received “Altin kelam” fifth national award of Uzbekistan “for foreign journalist`s spreading materials on Uzbekistan”.
A ceremony of awarding winners took place on the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day
Following a ceremony, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Journalists Union Sherzad Gulamov congratulated journalists and wished them every success. The jury selected 28 journalists out of 451. The competition is initiated by Uzbek Leader Islam Karimov.
UNESCO, UN and World Bank also presented incentive prizes to journalists.
