US considers Yemen security crucial for region's security, stability

WASHINGTON, May
15 (Saba)- The US Ambassador-at-Large and Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the
Department
of State Deniel Benjamin renewed on Saturday support of the United States of America
to the unity, stability and security of Yemen.
The statement was made in a meeting with Yemen Deputy Foreign Minister Mohi-al-Deen
al-Dhabi during which he considered that the security and stability of Yemen as
part
and parcel of security and stability of the region.
The US official praised efforts of Yemen in counterterrorism, affirming support of
his country in this area as well as in areas of economy and development.
Al-Dhabi, for his part, affirmed concern of the Yemen leadership to promote
relations with Yemen and expand horizons of joint cooperation with the US.
