AZERBAIJANI WRESTLERS WIN EIGHT MEDALS IN “CHAMPIONS” INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Baku, May 15 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani junior and female wrestlers scooped eight medals in the “Champions” international wrestling tournament in Ankara
Free-style wrestlers Galib Aliyev (50 kg) and Aslanmek Alborov (96 kg) won the silver medals while Khangirey Asyatilov (96 kg) a bronze medal
Greco-Roman wrestlers Rasul Junayev (66 kg) secured a gold, Khurshud Babashov (50 kg) silver, Eldeniz Azizli (50 kg) and Togrul Yunuslu (66 kg) bronze medals.
Azerbaijani female wrestler Gunay Ismayilova ranked second in the 55 kg weight class.
The tournament is regarded a build-up to the world and European championships.
