AZERI BOXERS TO COMPETE IN INT’L BOXING TOURNAMENT FINAL
Baku, May 15 (AzerTAc). An International Juvenile Boxing tournament to commemorate Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev’s 87th anniversary kicked off at “Serhedchi” Olympic Sports Center.
Nine Azeri boxers have reached the final of the international tournament.
Goshgar Safarli and Ramal Yusifzade will compete in the 50 kg, Alim Abbasov and Telman Gafarli in 54 kg weight categories. Huseyn Nerimanli (46 kg), Farid Ismayilov(52kg), Nabi Bagirov (63kg), Sadig Salahli (66kg), Rauf Rahmanov (75 kg), will also fight in the tournament. Russia,Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are also among participants.
