BAKU-TBILISI-KARS RAILWAY PROJECT MUST BE ACCELERATED

Baku, May 15 (AzerTAc). The implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project must be sped up, Deputy Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Musa Panahov said following a Tbilisi coordination meeting for prospects of transport development in the South Caucasus.
Panahov underlined there are no problems with the project, adding construction of the railway had been completely resumed.
Discussions at the meeting revolved around quality and financing of road construction as well as Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project.
