Minister: Iran-Qatar trade volume to reach USD5m on short-term horizon
Tehran, May 15, IRNA – Minister of Commerce Mehdi Ghazanfari said here Friday that Iran and Qatar can raise volume of their transactions up to between USD five million and USD one billion in a short period of time.
Ghazanfari told reporters upon leaving Doha for Tehran that volume of mutual transactions now stands at less than USD two million.
He said in meetings with Qatari officials the two sides had reached agreement on establishing direct shipping line and joint bank as well as joint investment and stock exchanges./end
