Social programmes for young specialists

Taldykorgan, 11 July 2008, Khabar - The Panfilov district of the Almayregion has summarised the results of a programme called "A young specialist" as the lack of medical staff having been almost solved there.

Last year, local authorities built ten houses in order to attract new people to work there. This year, those who wish to move to Zharkent are given some land sites with doctors in the town saying they are very pleased to see such large attention being paid to healthcare now. Meanwhile, a maternity house recently opened in Zharkent with a hospital commissioned in the village ofKonyrolen.

Toleu Sarpekov, head doctor, Panfilov region's central hospital: - All the medical institutions including hospitals, outpatient's clinics, and maternity hospitals were repaired with a total sum of 64 million tengeand 34 million was spent on purchasing new equipment for them.

This year, the town administration confidently announced there are many people willing to go there. (Khabar Agency)
