AZERI DELEGATION TO VISIT AFGHANISTAN
Baku, May 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani delegation led by deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov will be visiting Afghanistan on May 16-18.
The purpose of the visit is to assess the current state of Azerbaijan`s non-military assistance to Afghanistan and discuss new cooperation opportunities.
The delegation is planned to meet with officials of Afghanistan`s relevant bodies, command officers of the NATO International Security Assistance Force and Azerbaijani soldiers serving within the ISAF.
Currently, a full company of 90 members of Azerbaijani Armed Forces serve within the ISAF.
