ROUNDTABLE MEETING ON ROLE OF RUSSIA AND AZERBAIJAN IN MIDDLE EAST STARTED IN BAKU
Baku, May 14 (AzerTAc). A roundtable meeting on the “Role of Russia and Azerbaijan in the Middle East” organized by Center for Strategic Studies under Azerbaijan President and Russian Institute for Strategic Studies convened in Baku.
The event, which brought together well-known political experts of Azerbaijan and Russia, focused on development of the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
The meeting also saw discussions on a wide range of issues, including geopolitical processes in the Southern Caucasus, Russian-Iranian relations, Iran`s nuclear program, role of both countries in the regional security in the Middle East.
