AMBASSADOR OF INDONESIA PRESENTS LETTER OF CREDENCE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Wednesday, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Mongolia Mr Imron Kotan presented his diplomatic credentials to Mongolia's President Ts.Elbegdorj.
At the meeting held after this ceremony, the President said he hopes that the bilateral relations will undergo big positive changes during the office terms of the Ambassador here. Saying that Mongolia wants to cooperate with Indonesia in the sectors of mineral resources, mining, energy, commerce, investments, education and tourism, the President pointed out the countries have a possibility of enriching their collaboration with new contents and developing win-win economic collaboration.
"Mongolia has a willingness to study Indonesia's experiences in reducing poverty and in combating terrorism and corruption," he added.
In turn, Mr Kotan conveyed a greeting of the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to the Mongolian President. Mr Kotan assured that he will make great efforts to boost the Mongolia-Indonesia relations. "During a meeting with our busines people I learned that they intend to cooperate with Mongolia and that the Mongolian businessmen want to collaborate with my country. Our countries have an opportunity to cooperate in infrastructure, trade and economics," Mr Kotan stressed. Then he put forward some proposals on expanding the bilateral cooperation.
The dignitaries exchanged views on regularizing bilateral high level visits and developing active collaboration in the regional and multi-lateral cooperation.
