BASKETBALL COMPETITIONS HELD AMONG MONGOLIAN STUDENTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Regular basketball competitions have run among the Mongolian students who are studying in universities and institutes of Russia. The action, organized under auspices of the Embassy of Mongolia to Russia, Development Center for Mongolian Students in Russia and Union of Mongolian Students in Moscow, was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory on Great Patriotic War.
For the two-day events gathered men's and women's 23 teams from Moscow, Rostov-on-Don and Irkutsk cities. The team of Irkutsk's University of Road and Transportation took the 1st place at the men's contest followed by the first team of Moscow's Intelligence University and Moscow's University of Road and Transportation.
The gold medal of the women's contest went to a team of Moscow's University of Road and Transportation. Teams from Moscow's Academy of Economics and University of Rostov-on-Don followed this winner.
A member of the men's team from Rostov-on-Don N.Natsagdorj and member of the team from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia B.Tanan won prizes as the best players. The prizes were handed to all winners by D.Idevkhten, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Russia.
B.Khuder
