CHAIRPERSON OF STATE COMMITTEE FOR FAMILY, WOMEN AND CHILDREN AFFAIRS MEETS UNICEF REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR CEE/CIS
Baku, May 12 (AzerTAc). Chairperson of State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova has met today UNICEF Regional Director for CEE/CIS Steven Allen.
Huseynova briefed Allen on the work done in his country to protect rights of women, children and the youth. “But there are some problems that children face in the country who were forced to leave their lands by the Armenian aggressors. We address their problems,” she underlined.
Steven Allen, in turn, said he witnessed rapid development process in Azerbaijan.
According to him, at present, some problems exist that children face across the world. “These problems can be overcome through joint cooperation.”
