AZERI FM MEETS UNICEF REGIONAL DIRECTOR FOR CEE/CIS
Baku, May 12 (AzerTAc). Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met Wednesday UNICEF Regional Director for CEE/CIS Steven Allen.
Allen praised the current state of relationship between Azerbaijan and UNICEF.
He also hailed what the Azerbaijani government had done for development of healthcare sector in the country, rehabilitation of refugee children and their integration into society.
Mammadyarov, in turn, said cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNICEF was at high level.
He also added this cooperation contributes to the Azerbaijani government`s policy to develop social sphere in the country.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
