Iran: some media propaganda on attack on Pak envoy, untrue
Tehran, May 12, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mihman-Parast said that certain media propaganda concerning the attack on the Pakistani ambassador to Tehran is untrue.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry website on Tuesday, Mihman-Parast said that disseminated news about Pakistani ambassador condition is incorrect.
The spokesman stressed that the Pakistani envoy, who was walking back home from a swimming pool was attacked by an Afghan citizen who was unarmed.
He added that the ambassador is in good condition and that the assailant was arrested and investigation is being carried out./end
