Pakistani envoy attacked in Tehran
Tehran, May 12, IRNA – Pakistani Ambassador to Tehran Mohammad Bakhsh Abbasi was attacked and slightly injured here on Tuesday.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mihman-Parast confirmed the attack and strongly condemned it.
He also said the ambassador is in good condition now.
He added the assailant, who is an Afghan citizen, has been arrested.
The spokesman said the attack occurred when the ambassador was walking back home in a street in the north of Tehran./end
