D.IDEVKHTEN MEETS STANDING COMMITTEE HEAD OF DUMA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Idevkhten met on May 8 with K.I.Kosachev, a head of the Standing committee of the State Duma of Russia on international relations.
At the meeting, the Ambassador emphasized a requirement to expand the inter-parliamentary relations in the three levels--among leaders of the legislative bodies, parliamentary factions and political parties. Mentioning about significant roles of parliaments to improve legal environment of the trade and economic cooperation and increase its benefits, Mr Idevkhten said he will make great endeavor to widen the ties and collaboration between the State Great Khural and the State Duma. He also mentioned about successful visit of Parliament Speaker of Mongolia D.Demberel to Russia paid in the previous year, and then confirmed that B.Ya.Gryzlov, the State Duma Speaker has been invited to visit Mongolia.
In his turn Mr Kosachev expressed his satisfaction with meeting with the Mongolian Ambassador, and underlined that he will work with great efforts to expand the inter-parliamentary relations between the countries. Mr Kosachev also gave a speech about his conclusion of the victory on the Khalkh River Battle, and then expressed his confidence that the bilateral friendly relations and cooperation will deepen.
