Tehran-Riyadh ties affects entire region, Islamic world: Saudi
TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) – Saudi Arabian Interior Minister Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz has said amicable relationship between Tehran and Riyadh affects the entire region and the Islamic world.
Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz made these remarks in a meeting with the new Iranian ambassador to Riyadh Mohammad-Javad Rasouli Mahallati on Monday.
He also expressed hope that Rasouli will make efforts to pursue the interests of both nations.
Both sides also discussed important regional issues.
Rasouli said there is no controversial issue between Iran and Saudi Arabia and that Tehran attaches great importance to its ties with Riyadh.
