Chinese investment encouraged in Iran's FTZs
TEHRAN, May 11 (MAN) -- Iran will call upon Chinese investors to take part in joint ventures in three economic-industrial free trade zones (FTZs), the Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce Director Asadollah Asgaroladi stated.
He told the Mehr News Agency that in his upcoming visit to China in four months he will take part in a conference on investment opportunities in Iran to encourage Chinese investors to sign up in projects in Anzali, Salafchegan, and Sarakhs free zones.
Asgaroladi explained that if the Chinese invest in northern Iran FTZs, they will have the advantage of exporting their products to Central Asian countries.
The head of the Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce pointed out that investing in southern Iran is not justifiable due to Dubai’s huge presence in the region.
