IRNA MD: President’s methodical proposals annulled US propagations

Tehran, May 11, IRNA – The Islamic Republic News Agency's (IRNA) managing director said here Monday evening President Ahmadinejad's precise, methodical proposals practically took aback westerners, and America that had launched vast propagation prior to his presence at the conference.
According to IRNA's Audiovisual News Monitoring Service, Ali-Akbar Javanfekr made the above statement while elaborating on the outcome of President Ahmadinejad’s presence in the ongoing UN ministerial conference to review the NPT contents in a live 210 minute IRIB News Network channel, Monday night.
In response to a question on the real worth of the Iranian president’s presence at the ministerial level UN gathering, the IRNA chief said, “Mr. Ahmadinejad and his esteemed government adopted the decision a week before the opening of the NPT Review Conference and the various aspects of the move were surveyed respectively and as it was approved in practice, it was a precise and correct decision.
Emphasizing that the president was resolutely determined to make the move, he added, “Keeping in mind the background of the US sabotages, it was probable that they would create obstacles, but if they would have refrained from the issuance of the US visa due to political reasons, it would have still been a great success for the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The media affairs consultant of the IRI president said, “Of course the Americans did not issue visas for the entire accompanying members of the Iranian presidential delegation, including the accompanying medical doctor and the reporters and this move raised question about the reason why they did so exclusively regarding cooperation with the Iranian delegation.”
Javanfekr referred to the high alertness of the world reporters at the media section of the UN General Assembly prior to President Ahmadinejad’s address and the UN Secretary General’s undeclared brief remarks on Iran prior to Ahmadinejad’s speech.
He said, “Mr. Ban Ki-Moon opened the session and in a part of his remarks he mentioned that the ball is now at Iran’s yard due to its turn to reply to the nuclear swap deal.”
Javanfekr added, “Mr. Ahamdinejad, too, prior to beginning his official address replied to the UN secretary general’s remarks stressing that Iran had both initially accepted the deal, and that Tehran is still committed to its initial acceptance, adding, that the ball is therefore not in Iran’s yard, but in the yard of those that should cooperate with Iran in implementing the nuclear fuel swap deal.”
The media affairs consultant of the president said that eight countries’ representatives left the conference hall during the president’s address, adding, “Of course the volume of the poisonous propagation around the move was disproportionate with the dimensions of the event, but a number of the European countries whose place at the hall was opposite to Iran’s position remained at the hall.”
He said that the move was merely symbolic and that there are serious controversies within the EU about the matter, stressing, “Israel’s role in the move was quite evident and it was all in all a defeated effort to the loss of those few countries that joined it.”
He referred to the convening of Tehran nuclear disarmament shortly before the New York NPT event and the US worries about the presence of the IRI president at it, reiterating, “The Americans had precisely planned for harvesting the crops of this conference, having sponsored their own nuclear conference before Iran’s in Washington, intending to keep on imposing the US hegemonic will that is based on dependence of military power.”
The President's media affairs consultant stressed, “Mr. Ahmadinejad reiterated that the countries that have used the atomic bomb and are still threatening other countries of using it, thus threatening the world peace and stability cannot be the standard bearers of the international anti nuclear weapon campaign.
He referred to the US officials’ dizziness due to Iran’s precise move, setting example of the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s address, in which everyone confessed was not as competent and cool as Ahmadinejad was at the conference.
Regarding President Ahmadinejad’s sarcastic comment on Osama Bin Laden’s present in Washington in response to a US reporters question whether he is in Tehran, he said, “That remark amazed the American reporter, but President Ahmadinejad right after that pointed out that the Americans have published the documents regarding Bin Laden’s commercial deals with the former US president George W. Bush.
Javanfekr also pointed out that when one works for God’s sake His backing and support is sufficient guarantee for him./end
