PRESIDENT: RI NEEDS TO LEARN FROM BRAZIL ABOUT AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT
Sapporo, July 11 (ANTARA) -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhyono said Indonesia needs to learn much from Brazil on agricultural development.
"The Brazilian President is scheduled to arrive in Indonesia on Saturday this week and we will utilize his visit to expand agricultural cooperation with Brazil," the President said in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on Thursday, after attending the G-8 summit which was concluded last Wednesday.
At a press conference with Indonesian journalists the President said Brazil was very successful in building its agricultural sector which can support the economic activities of the Latin American country.
Brazil was very successful in the soybean cultivation and the development of bio-fuel and vegetable fuel.
"Indonesia wishes to cooperate for the further development of our agricultural sector," he said
