Iran's army fires missiles in 4th phase of Velayat 89 wargames
Jask, Hormuzgan Prov, May 10, IRNA – Various types of surface-to-surface, air-to-surface and surface-to-sea missiles were fired at the fourth phase of the `Velayat 89’ war games which started in Iranian southern waters Monday.
Iranian Army has started a five-stage military exercise since last Wednesday which will end on May 12.
Different units of the Iranian Army displayed defensive and deterrent naval power in a vast area which included the Persian Gulf, Sea of Oman and the northern Indian Ocean regions.
During the fourth stage of the military drill, warships and aircraft of the Iranian Army are also to parade in the Iranian territorial waters./end
