Int'l flora fair opens in Tehran
Tehran, May 10, IRNA – The 8th Tehran International Flora Exhibition opened here Sunday in the presence of representatives from 51 foreign companies from 17 world countries.
Over 210 domestic companies are also taking part in the international exhibition which will last until May 14.
According to a Tehran Municipality official, the foreign companies participating in the flora event are from countries such as Germany, Spain, Canada, South Korea, Greece, the UAE, Italy, Belgium, China, Sri Lanka, France, Thailand, India and the Netherlands.
Talking to IRNA, Ali-Mohammad Mokhtari added that the foreign companies will display their flora and equipment in 9,000 square meters of covered area and 5,000 square meters of open space.
He said Iran is enjoying great potentials for flora exports, underlining the need for removing the existing obstacles in the way of development of the industry./end
