Obama’s reforms only possible by repairing ties with Iran: President
Kashan, Isfahan, May 10, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday that the only chance for the US to repair its damaged image worldwide is to mend its ties with Iran.
The president made the remarks while addressing a large crowd in this central provincial city where he inaugurated the largest car manufacturing site in the Middle East region, the Saipa Kashan Factory.
“(US) President Barack Obama has to mend Washington’s policies in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran and all these changes depend on reforming US ties with Iran,” stressed the president.
He said that repairing bilateral ties with Iran was Obama’s easiest problem in the Middle East as other regional problems were more complicated than reforming ties between Tehran and Washington.
“Iran is the only chance for the US to solve its problems in the Middle East region,” President Ahmadinejad said.
He stressed that sanctions could never stop Iranians from moving on the path of making huge progresses./end
