Kacavand vows to sue US officials for dignity

Tehran, May 8, IRNA – Iranian citizen Majid Kacavand who was imprisoned in France due to a baseless US intrigue has vowed that he would sue US official for damaging his dignity.
Upon his arrival at the Imam Khomeini International Airport, Kacavand told the waiting reporters: “Keeping in mind that I was imprisoned for four months based on a baseless accusation, I reserve my legal right to sue the US officials responsible for the move at my first convenient opportunity.”
Pointing out that the French judiciary officials were well intentioned, he added, “During the court hearing the French judiciary officials treated me quite well intentioned.”
Focusing on the behavior of US officials, Kacavand reiterated, “The Americans are trying to conceal their political defeats by accusing ordinary Iranian citizens baselessly, hoping to disturb the cooperation of the foreign business partners of the Iranian merchants, which is of course a defeated policy.”
Kacavand was received at the airport by his family members and crowds of people who congratulated him for being fully acquitted of the baselessly accused crime./end
