Mottaki hopes to have good talks in Istanbul

Istanbul, May 8, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived in Istanbul Friday night to hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Ahmed David Oglu.
Upon his arrival, Mottaki told reporters that, god willing, he would have good talks with the Turkish foreign minister.Mottaki made the comment minutes before beginning his first round of talks with David Oglu.
Mottaki, who was warmly welcomed at the Cheraqan historical palace on one of Istanbul's coasts, in response to the questions posed by the waiting reporters said in the Turkish language: "The weather is fine, the sea is beautiful, and our talks will God willing be good.”
Mottaki and David Oglu later stood for photographs and then arrived at the main hall of the palace for bilateral negotiations. Their ongoing talks are being held behind closed doors./end
