MONGOLIA'S AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS


Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Federative Republic of Brazil T.Zalaa-Uul presented his diplomatic credentials on May 5 to the Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Beginning the meeting, which was arranged after this ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed a greeting of Mongolia's President to Mr da Silva, and expressed a willingness to develop the Mongolia-Brazil friendly relations and cooperation.
Mr Zalaa-Uul met with Celso Amorim, the Foreign Minister of Brazil, and conveyed a greeting of Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs to him. He said Mongolia appreciates a development of Brazil and increase of its reputation not only in the region but also at international arena. The Ambassador said the Mongolian side is willing to exploit all opportunities to widen the bilateral relations and cooperation. On behalf of Mongolia's government he thanked the Brazilian side for rendering a humanitarian aid of USD 100 thousand to the Mongolian children through the UNICEF.
Present at the ceremony were the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil; the State Secretary of Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs; directors of some departments; D.Ganzukh, an advisor to Mongolia's Embassy; Roberto Silva, a Honorary Consul of Mongolia to San Paulo city and others.
