Group 5+1 won't hold meeting on Iran: Russian diplomat

Moscow, May 5, IRNA – Russian news sources quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov as saying that members of Group 5+1 do not intend to hold a meeting on Iran in near future.
Ryabkov, who is heading Russian delegation in NPT Review Conference in New York, told Russian reporters that next round of meetings of representatives of Group 5+1 on Iran has not been scheduled yet.
Referring to Iran’s readiness for exchanging nuclear fuel, Ryabkov added that Moscow is hopeful that Iran shows more flexibility on exchanging produced uranium by needed fuel for Tehran Research Reactor.
Unfortunately, related sides have not reached an agreement on ways of exchanging fuel, its time, venue and amount, so far, he said.
The Russian senior diplomat stressed that they will continue their efforts and are hopeful that all sides show more flexibility in this concern./end
