GOVERNMENT URGES OPPOSITION TO HAND 50 SUSPECTS

SANA'A, May 01 (Saba) - The government urged on Saturday the Joint
Meeting Parties, an opposition coalition in Yemen, to hand over 50
suspects wanted on criminal charges in the south.

It suggested that the coalition reach a compromise with their allies
in the separatist movement, whose fans are addicted to vandalism, to
hand the suspects responsible for banditry, murders and vandalism in
southern areas.

Moreover, it urged the parties to talk to their new Houthi ally to
stick to the ceasefire deal agreed with the government in February
through implementing all terms.

In this regard the government said the Houthi group must implement
the rest terms including handing over the remaining military and
civilian captives and military and public equipment, withdrawal from
all positions, stopping interference in the local governance and
avoiding blocking the return of the refugees.
