BAKU HOSTS AZERBAIJAN-ISRAEL CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS FORUM
Baku, 10 July,(AzerTAj) -The Azerbaijan-Israel Construction Business forum, organized by the Israeli Embassy in Baku, Israel Export Institute and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), was held today at the “Park INN-Azerbaijan†Hotel of Baku.
Speaking at the event, Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Artur Lenk said both countries have developed cooperation in the fields of economy, culture and otherspheres recent years.
He also highlighted that Azerbaijan is the second commercial partner of Israel after Italy, adding that there is good potential for thedevelopment of commercial cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador also stressed that his country is ready to assist Azerbaijan in allfields including ICT, agriculture, construction and others.
Jabrayil Khanlarov, the head of the Agency on Control over Security in Construction at the Emergency Situations Ministry briefed the participants about the organization and its activity, stressing that Azerbaijan could benefit from Israel`s experiencein the construction sector.
Emil Aliyev, director of AZPROMO spoke about prospects of Azerbaijan’s businesssector and called the participants to cooperate in this field.
Representatives of Israeli firms like Betofirt, Electronic Line, Hassin ESH, Kedmor, Nirlat and Tambour attended the forum and spoke about the modern technologies theyuse in construction.
On the sidelines of the forum, Azerbaijani and Israeli businessmen held bilateralmeetings.
