STATE HEAD VISITS FACTORIES

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ President Ts.Elbegdorj visited Thursday some leading factories in Jilin province's Changchun city in a scope of his state visit to the People Republic of China.
The President visited a factory that makes trains. It was established in 2002 on the base of automobile factory which was founded in 1954. The factory is producing high-speed trains, transport trains, metro, magnetic and electric trains. In the last eight months, some 30 thousand trains of various types were made there. As the factory's head said, the products are exported to more than ten countries, including Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Australia and Thailand. The export reached USD 2 billion in the period from 1995 to present days.
The same day, Mr Elbegdorj got au fait with Changchun-based Haoyue Group which produces meat products and foods and exports them to 20 countries.
The State Head has been accompanied by businessmen of banking, mining, construction, road, transportation and agricultural sectors 40 entities.
