YUDHOYONO TO MEET SEVERAL OTHER GOVT LEADERS IN TOYAKO
Tokyo, Hokkaido, July 9 (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to meet with several foreign government and international organization leaders on the sidelines of the Group of Eight (G-8) annual summit at the Windsor Hotel in Toyako on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, President Yudhoyono would meet with his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung Bak before having a private meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon at noon.
After conveying his views on the food and energy crises, and climate change at the G-8 summit, President Yudhoyono would meet with World Bank President Robert Zoelick.
In the afternoon, the Indonesian president would successively meet Mexican President Felipe Calderon Hinjora, Indian Prime Minister Mahmohan Singh, and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
Present at the G-8 summit were the leaders of its member countries namely Japan, Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Russia, and the United States.
Also present were the leaders of several African countries, the World Bank, the United Nations, and Indonesia.
